Job summary

Northrop Grumman Defense Systems in Elkton, Maryland, is seeking a Manager Programs Level 2 to lead the Propulsion Systems & Controls business unit. This full-time, on-site role will manage complex government programs, ensure on-time delivery, and maintain cost control.

The position requires a DoD Secret clearance and a strong track record in program management. As part of a team, you will direct staff, work with customers, and drive program performance across cost, schedule, and technical

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree and 8 years of experience supporting U.S. Government contracts and customers and/or project management in other industries.
5+ years of experience leading the performance of tasks on schedule, at cost and achieving all requirements as either project lead, integrated program team or cost account manager
Must be a US citizen and able to obtain a DoD Secret security clearance

Responsibilities

Supervises staff assigned/matrixed to the program and provides direction.
Plans and assesses program performance addressing cost, schedule, technical performance, and quality.
Oversees projects and tasks to meet schedules and budgets.
Conducts briefings and participates in technical meetings with internal and external stakeholders.
