Job summary

Sotheby’s Institute of Art in New York seeks a Programming Producer to create and manage engagement initiatives across flagship locations, focusing on programming concepts, production and delivery.

You will lead on-site delivery, coordinating with Marketing, Events, Global Fine Art, and Luxury to execute compelling audience experiences that reflect the brand’s standards and ambitions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in marketing, Arts Education, Cultural Institutions, or related field.
• Experience in cultural programming and event delivery.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Manages monthly, annual, and bespoke New York engagement program calendar.
• Designs and delivers programming to grow audiences and highlight Sotheby’s expertise.
• Coordinates with Marketing, Events, Global Fine Art, and Luxury for cross-department initiatives.
• Oversees on-site delivery, directing internal teams, staff, and vendors.
• Develops production schedules, run-of-show docs, and staffing plans with Events.
• Contributes to consigner pitches with unique programming opportunities.
