About the Role
The Athletic is looking for a passionate, analytical individual with an eye for great content to join our team as a Senior Programming Editor. In this role, you’ll be responsible for curation, packaging and distribution of original content across various channels including, but not limited to, The Athletic web home page, app feeds, New York Times platforms and newsletters. The Senior Programming Editor will be an expert on content produced by our staff of 400+ national and local journalists, be an excellent copy writer, have a strong editorial sense and be expected to lead on high-level platform strategy. This role will be remote and will have night and weekend shifts.
This is a remote-based position in the United States or Canada.
ResponsibilitiesThe annual base salary range for this role is $80,000.00 - $85,000.00 USD. The total compensation offered for this position may vary based on factors such as education, experience, skills, and location. It may also include non-cash rewards and benefits. The base salary range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
