Job summary

Construction Material Testing seeks a Project Quality Manager III to direct quality across capital projects for owners or EPCs, establishing the quality management system and audit program.

You will lead Project Quality Managers, own supplier qualifications, and represent the client in regulatory audits. The role requires 10+ years in quality on capital projects with leadership, plus ASQ/NQA-1 qualifications. Texas-based with travel.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in quality on capital projects, with 5+ years directing quality programs.
• ASQ CMQ-OE or CQA and ISO 9001 lead auditor required.
• NQA-1 lead auditor qualification a strong plus.
• Experience as the quality authority on regulated programs (nuclear, energy, transportation, or federal).
• Executive-level communication and the judgment to stop work when the record demands it.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain the program's quality management system and audit program.
• Direct Project Quality Managers across multiple projects.
• Set standards, review performance, and develop staff.
• Own supplier and contractor qualification and approved vendor list.
• Represent the client in regulatory and third-party audits.
• Close corrective actions and report quality metrics to leadership.
