Job summary

Lilly is seeking a PMO Lead in Global Facilities Delivery to provide strategic oversight for a large-scale pharmaceutical capital program. You will establish the PMO framework, govern cost, schedule, and risk, and coordinate engineering, construction, commissioning, and quality workstreams to deliver on scope and budget.

Requirements include 10+ years in program management, a related bachelor’s degree, and ability to travel ~10% with US work authorization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Engineering, Construction Management, Business, or a related field.
• 10+ years of project or program management on large, capital-intensive projects.
• Experience coordinating cross-functional delivery teams (engineering, construction, commissioning & qualification, and quality) to deliver within scope, budget, and schedule.
• Ability to travel within and outside the US as required, ~10%.
• Authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis; no visa sponsorship provided.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain the program PMO framework, standards, templates, roles, responsibilities, and reporting cadence across all workstreams.
• Deploy enterprise project management standards, playbooks, and stage-gate processes at the program level.
• Own program governance and reporting; provide transparent updates to senior leadership on progress, risks, and financials.
• Prepare for stage-gate reviews and funding decisions; track actions to closure.
• Manage program risks, issues, changes, and baselining through formal processes.
• Interface with Global Portfolio Controls Office to ensure integrated cost and schedule performance reporting.
• Coordinate delivery across engineering, construction, commissioning & qualification, and quality; surface interdependencies early.
• Lead resource planning across internal staff and external providers; build PMO capability through coaching.
• Maintain GMP-compliant program documentation and drive continuous improvement from lessons learned.
