Responsibilities

• Plans, organizes and directs a component of an agency or program.
• Interprets and advises on departmental rules and laws.
• Prepares administrative, statistical and fiscal documents.
• Supervises assigned staff in planning and implementing programs.
• Advises on resource requirements and timelines; develops policies.
• Plans and conducts training, represents the agency at meetings and conferences.
• Drafts policies/procedures and develops contracts or grants proposals.
• Reviews proposed legislation and may act as legislative liaison.

Education

Bachelor's degree in public administration or related field

Three (3) years of professional experience in business or public administration
