Conrad N. Hilton Foundation seeks a Senior Program Officer for Youth Initiatives to lead an integrated youth strategy focused on economic mobility for 15–26-year-olds.

The role includes managing a multi-year grant portfolio, building employer partnerships, and driving cross-geography learning across Atlanta, New Orleans, and national efforts. The SPO will oversee a team, collaborate with SLED and other departments, and translate strategy into measurable outcomes while maintaining strong

Qualifications

• At least 10 years of relevant professional experience with leadership in workforce development, career pathways, employer engagement, youth development, philanthropy, public systems, or related field.
• Graduate degree in a related field, or equivalent education/experience.
• Demonstrated experience designing, building, managing, or advising initiatives connecting youth to measurable outcomes (skill attainment, credential, job placement, retention, wage progression).
• Direct experience engaging employers and industry partners.
• Strong knowledge of program issues, funding landscape, and ability to develop/adapt strategy.

Responsibilities

• Lead implementation of the integrated Youth strategy in Atlanta and New Orleans with focus on economic mobility, housing, and mental health priorities.
• Translate Youth theory of change into portfolio priorities, grantmaking plans, milestones, and learning questions.
• Track milestones like enrollment, completion, employment, retention, wage progression, housing stability, and mental health indicators.
• Refine strategy using data, learning, trends, and portfolio performance; identify grantmaking opportunities and partnerships.
• Present strategy, progress, risks, and learning to the Board of Directors.
• Collaborate across geographies and initiatives for consistent grantmaking and leverage activities.
