Job summary

The Citi Foundation is seeking a Program Officer to support investments across the grantmaking portfolio in the United States. You will collaborate with national and local organizations to design programs that promote economic progress and improve the lives of people in low-income communities.

Responsibilities include managing grants, reporting, stakeholder coordination, and representing Citi at events. A Master's degree and 8+ years in related fields are preferred to drive impact through

Qualifications

• Master's degree in a related field is preferred.
• 8+ years of experience in corporate philanthropy, community development, or complex partnership development.
• Demonstrated grant-making experience in Citi Foundation’s economic opportunity focus areas.
• Knowledge of corporate foundation operations and non-profit/foundation compliance.

Responsibilities

• Review proposals and move requests through the approval process per Citi Foundation policies.
• Manage and monitor individual grant investments and conduct portfolio evaluations.
• Provide project management support and partner with Foundation team members to identify and implement program and process improvements.
• Support Foundation’s grant and data analysis efforts for internal and/or external reporting.
• Coordinate relationship management activities with internal stakeholders to implement Citi’s approach to community impact.
• Represent the Citi Foundation at internal/external events, community meetings, and conferences.
• Provide subject matter expertise aligned with Citi Foundation’s economic opportunity focus areas.
• Convene thought leaders and stakeholders to develop opportunities for innovation and collaboration.
