Amazon is hiring a Senior Program Manager for Global Fleet and Products (GFP) Middle Mile Fleet to lead cross‑functional initiatives and deliver scalable fleet programs. Qualifications

• 5+ years of program or project management experience.
• Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements.
• Experience owning program strategy, end‑to‑end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership.
• Experience communicating with VP-level decision makers; written proposals to business and tech teams.

Responsibilities

• Work cross-functionally with Business Development, Core Operations, Legal, Finance, Network planning and executive teams to bring products to market.
• Communicate effectively in high-pressure environments and exercise sound judgment where guidelines may be unclear.
• Solve transportation challenges and deliver results with a bias to action.
• Own variable fleet strategy for North America Middle Mile power units, including operation plan, budget, vehicle specs, procurement and disposition.
• Negotiate and manage third-party rental partnerships to secure capacity during peak and year-round operations.
• Own financial analysis and budget tracking for variable fleet programs and optimize costs with data-driven decisions.
• Develop strategies to improve fleet utilization and acceptance rates while balancing supply and demand.
• Serve as escalation point for rental vehicles and maintain clear communication.
• Forecast capacity needs with cross-functional teams and drive process improvements.
• Serve as Single Threaded Leader for all power unit safety incidents and establish standard work.
