Job summary

CACI International is seeking a Senior Program Manager to lead a flagship Space and Sensing RDT&E effort in Sterling, VA. The role oversees a ~$25M/year program with 30+ personnel across multiple concurrent orders, guiding RF collection systems, antenna payloads, and software/hardware architectures while managing cost, schedule, and performance.

The position requires a TS/SCI clearance, a bachelor’s in engineering/physics, and 10+ years of engineering program leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, physics, or related technical field.
• 5+ years of experience managing complex engineering programs (RF, SIGINT, space sensor/payload, or related DoD/IC development efforts).
• Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional engineering teams.
• Experience with system testing, verification, environmental testing, and vendor management.
• US Citizen with active TS/SCI security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Own all aspects of program execution including cost, schedule, technical performance, and risk/opportunity management.
• Drive development and integration of RF collection systems and related assemblies.
• Coordinate vendor engagement and procurements, evaluations, FAT, and delivery schedules.
• Collaborate with RF, software, mechanical, and test engineers for integration success.
• Oversee testing, analyze results, and guide corrective actions.
• Prepare customer progress briefs, reviews, and technical reports.
• Maintain disciplined contract management and funding burn on mixed contract vehicles.
• Lead and develop a cross-functional team and ensure clear stakeholder communication.
• Sustain readiness by complying with ITAR/EAR and safety protocols.
