Job summary

HCL Technologies is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead Silicon Infra Enablement efforts supporting Meta. You will oversee validation activities for custom ASIC programs, drive AI-tool adoption, and coordinate multi-timezone teams across US and India.

This role requires deep experience in silicon validation, CI/CD for hardware, and strong leadership. The ideal candidate will manage vendor relationships, drive process improvements, and interface with senior stakeholders across multiple Meta

Qualifications

• 15+ years in software development, validation, and software delivery management.
• 8+ years in silicon validation, test engineering, or hardware infrastructure; 3+ years in engineering management.
• Deep understanding of ASIC/SoC validation methods: PVT, frequency binning, power/thermal, production test.
• Experience building and operating CI/CD pipelines for hardware validation.
• Proven track record managing distributed teams across time zones and vendors.
• Strong operational discipline; data-driven decision making.
• Familiarity with Python-based test automation, Presto/data warehousing, and dashboards.
• Excellent communication with silicon design teams, platform engineers, and leadership.

Responsibilities

• Own CI/CD pipeline for silicon test operations, incl. triage and dashboards.
• Coordinate across silicon design, firmware, platform engineering, and test ops.
• Manage vendor engineering teams, including billing reviews and delivery tracking.
• Participate in on-call rotations and drive root-cause analysis.
• Champion AI tool adoption (Claude Code, CodeCompose, Devmate) and track metrics.
• Coordinate global teams across US PST and India IST with daily standups.
