Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Senior Program Manager to own WESE’s operational strategy and end-to-end program delivery across a portfolio of safety initiatives. You will partner with Directors, VPs, and cross-functional leaders to align resources, set multi-year roadmaps, and drive measurable improvements in cost, speed, and injury reduction.

You will lead PMs to ensure CAR quality, financial discipline, and rigorous executive storytelling.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of program or project management experience.
• 7+ years cross-functional project delivery experience.
• 7+ years of cross-functional work with tech and non-tech teams.
• 7+ years of team management experience.
• Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to drive improvements.
• Experience producing executive-level written materials for senior leadership.
• Experience generating and managing Capital Appropriation Requests (CARs) or equivalent capital planning documentation.

Responsibilities

• Define the operational strategy for WESE program delivery and the initiatives to uphold that strategy.
• Lead a team of PMs; drive delivery velocity, CAR quality, and financial discipline.
• Own project financial management across the WESE portfolio (CapEx/OpEx, budget adherence, variance analysis).
• Partner with Finance to optimize resource allocation and investment trade-offs; drive measurable efficiency gains.
• Coordinate with Operations, Finance, Engineering, WHS, and Tech to source, allocate, and manage resources; drive cross-functional prioritization.
• Author high-quality six-pagers, PR/FAQs, and business reviews for Director/VP audiences.
