Job summary

AFRL RFY in Dayton, OH seeks a visionary Supervisory Program Manager (GS-14 or equivalent) to lead end-to-end management of multi-million dollar advanced science and technology portfolios. The role guides multi-disciplinary teams from concept to field deployment, with direct executive contact and budget responsibilities.

Required: Top-Secret clearance access to SCI/SAP, GS-13+ experience, APDP Tier 2, and DoD contracting familiarity. Telework eligibility is available as per policy.

Qualifications

• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Top-Secret security clearance with access to SCI/SAP.
• Minimum of 1 year specialized experience at GS-13 or equivalent.
• OPM qualification standards apply for the position.
• Acquisition Professional Development Program (APDP) Level/Tier 2 certification required within 5 years.

Responsibilities

• Exercise end-to-end program management and technical oversight across multi-million dollar portfolios.
• Plan, direct, and evaluate large technology development and demonstration efforts.
• Coordinate interdisciplinary teams and manage cost, schedule, performance, and risk across the program life cycle.
• Direct multi-phase initiatives from concept through transition, establishing baselines and schedules.
• Evaluate milestones and contractor progress to ensure alignment with mission objectives.
• Formulate and defend program budgets across the FYDP and execute RDT&E funding.
