Job summary

Veeva Systems, a leading life sciences SaaS company, seeks a Senior Program Manager for the Implementation/Professional Services team. You will own end-to-end quality of client-facing designs, content matrices, PRC submissions, and pre-launch QA for the live tool, while building processes and guiding a team of contractor editors.

You will bring pharma editorial expertise into a fast-moving SaaS environment, coordinating with project managers, copywriters, developers, and customer success

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in life sciences, English, journalism, communications, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in medical/scientific editing, ideally within a life sciences marketing agency, medical communications agency, or pharmaceutical company, with direct experience editing pharma brand marketing or patient/HCP-facing digital content.
• Proven experience guiding content through Medical, Legal, and Regulatory (MLR) or PRC review and incorporating client and reviewer feedback across multiple submission rounds.
• Excellent attention to detail, with strong factchecking, proofreading, and reference/citation verification skills.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain editorial processes and QA procedures.
• Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple accounts and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Review and QA project deliverables, including tool designs and the content library/matrix, for accuracy, consistency, and compliance before they move into client review.
• Guide deliverables through client review and PRC submission, ensuring thorough, accurate editorial review at every round.
• Conduct pre-launch QA testing of the built tool against PRC-approved materials, including content checks and functionality testing.
• Develop, document, and maintain quality processes, checklists, and best practices for the medical editor team.
• Manage resourcing across a team of contractor medical editors: assigning, coordinating, and delegating review and QA tasks across active projects.
• Partner with stakeholders across the Implementation and Customer Success teams including project managers, copywriters, developers, and customer success managers to ensure successful delivery across projects.
