Job summary

General Dynamics Mission Systems is seeking a Senior Project Manager to oversee execution and growth of the Surface Ship Systems Integration and Test portfolio within the Maritime and Strategic Systems lines. You will drive program plans, coordinate with engineering, manufacturing and customers to meet schedule, cost, and performance targets.

The role requires strong Navy program experience, earned value management, risk & opportunities management, and effective leadership.

Qualifications

• Experience leading complex defense programs.
• Strong analytical and schedule management capabilities.
• Ability to interface with customers and stakeholders.
• Proven track record in program performance and cost control.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement product/ program strategies and roadmaps.
• Coordinate with engineering, manufacturing, and services to meet objectives.
• Lead risk management and opportunities; drive corrective actions.
• Manage WBS and baselines for scope, cost, and schedule.
• Prepare and negotiate proposals and support government/customer reviews.
• Maintain relationships with customers and ensure program success.
