Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a senior Project Manager for complex implementations in the US financial services sector. You will lead cross-functional teams across internal, client, and third-party resources to deliver on-time, high-quality solutions.

You will manage budgets, drive continuous service improvements, and serve as the trusted client liaison through transitions from sales to delivery and into steady-state servicing. Strong communication and PM tools proficiency are essential.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of project management and implementation experience with external clients.
• Experience in Asset Management, Market Data or Insurance space.
• Securities or financial markets experience.
• Expert proficiency with Jira, Excel, Monday.com and Salesforce.

Responsibilities

• Identify and finalize project/implementation scope
• Develop detailed implementation plans including internal, client and third-party resourcing
• Manage and coordinate internal, client and third-party resources to ensure successful, on-time, quality implementations
• Generate weekly status reports and hold weekly status meetings with clients and project teams
• Schedule and lead steering committee meetings with C-level client decision makers and Clearwater senior management
• Manage and report on implementation budgets
• Seek out, recommend, and implement continuous service improvements
• Serve as a trusted relationship manager responding to client inquiries and ensuring successful transition to the steady-state servicing team
• Bridge Client Servicing, Sales, and Development teams
• Run multiple simultaneous implementations with minimal oversight
• Lead transitions from Sales to Global Delivery before project kick-off and from Global Delivery to Client Services upon implementation

Requirements

• Expert technical proficiency in JIRA, Excel, Monday.com, and Salesforce
• Ability to explore, trial, and recommend new tools and technologies as business needs arise
• Strong background in Financial Services, including Investment Banking, Private Equity, Hedge Funds, Insurance, and FinTech
• Demonstrated experience managing projects within a matrix reporting environment
• Solid knowledge of investment accounting and reporting practices
• Product expertise in Private Investments, RNFs, LIHTC, and IRR calculations
• In-depth understanding of LP/GP relationships in private markets
• Familiarity with Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) platforms and delivery models
• Advanced computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Exceptional attention to detail and strong documentation capabilities
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong organizational and interpersonal abilities for effective collaboration
• Proven problem-solving and analytical skills
• Bachelor’s and/or master's in finance or accounting
• 8+ years of relevant project management and implementation experience working with external clients
