Job summary

Twitch Interactive, Inc. is seeking a Sr Localization Program Manager to own the operational core of our localization program across 29 languages, partnering with Product, Engineering and Marketing to deliver native experiences at scale.

You will manage end-to-end localization, implement quality processes, build linguistic assets, and drive improvements that enable global users to engage with content as if it were created locally.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of localization project/program management experience.
• Experience with enterprise localization tools and translation management platforms (Smartling, memoQ, Phrase or similar).
• Experience defining quality and efficiency frameworks across languages and content types, and influencing Product, Engineering, and Marketing partners to adopt localization-ready processes.
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication.
• Native speaker of one additional language.

• Monitor continuous localization operations while identifying and implementing opportunities for improvement.
• Run and evolve localization quality processes: coordinate testing, build LQA workflows and propose improvements based on data and next-level language technology solutions.
• Monitor and improve translation quality output by developing and maintaining linguistic assets.
• Influence upstream content operations for seamless, context-rich translations.
• Build localization metrics reports (turnaround, quality scores, cost per word)

About the Role

We're looking for a Sr. Localization Program Manager to own and redesign the operational core of our localization program - vendor management, content workflows, language technology, quality processes, and launch execution across 29 languages. You'll join a lean team of senior professionals who operate as strategic partners to Product, Engineering and Marketing, focused on bringing global users a native experience. As the program scales, so does the team: strong performers take on increasing scope over time.

You Will

Basic Qualifications:

• Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
• 8+ years of localization project/program management experience, with a demonstrated ability to transform localization operations into scalable, automated systems
• Experience managing stakeholders and cross-organizational dependencies, with a track record of delivering internal stakeholder and customer outcomes through systems thinking
• Experience with enterprise localization tools, translation management platforms (Smartling, memoQ, Phrase or similar), and developing and maintaining linguistic assets and workflows
• Experience defining quality and efficiency frameworks across languages and content types, and influencing Product, Engineering, and Marketing partners to adopt localization-ready processes
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication
• Native speaker of one additional language

Preferred Qualifications:

• An analytical mindset, with the ability to visualize data, connect the dots, and turn localization insights into decisions that drive business and tooling outcomes.
• Native French, German, Chinese or Japanese preferred
• Experience designing and implementing scalable localization processes and technical automation
• Track record of building localization programs from scratch or through transformation
• Experience evaluating MT/LLM quality in production workflows
• Solid understanding of localization metrics and data manipulation
