Job summary

L3Harris Technologies in Mason, OH seeks a Senior Specialist Program Manager to lead Integrated Product Teams on IR sensor programs. You will drive all program phases, manage cost, schedule, technical performance, and quality, and coordinate with DoD contracts and stakeholders.

Travel up to 20% is required and security clearance is expected. This role demands strong leadership, excellent communication, and proven program management expertise in defense environments, with on-site responsibility

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 6 years of prior relevant experience; Graduate Degree with at least 4 years; in lieu of a degree, minimum of 10 years of related experience.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with DoD contracts and ability to obtain a U.S. security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Direct all phases of programs from inception through completion, ensuring timely delivery and mission success.
• Drive program execution to achieve key business and financial objectives (orders, revenue, operating income, free cash flow).
• Manage performance in cost, schedule, and technical performance of programs or subsystems.
• Support negotiations of contracts and changes; assist with SOWs, budgets, and terms.
• Lead IPTs and coordinate in reviews; present to leadership on cost, schedule, and performance.
• Demonstrate clear written and verbal communication across technical and non-technical audiences.
• Travel up to 20% to domestic locations.
• Other duties as assigned.
