Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking a Program Manager 2 for our Flight Systems Futures unit in Roy, UT. You will lead the program through inception to completion, overseeing cost, schedule and technical performance for tooling programs while coordinating across engineering, manufacturing and admin teams.

The role requires a BS with 8+ years of related experience or MS with 6+ years, or equivalent; U.S. citizenship and active Top Secret clearance with SAP approval.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 8 years of related experience; master's degree and 6 years’ experience or an additional 4 years of related experience in lieu of a degree.
• Must be a U.S citizen and have an active U.S. Government Top Secret security clearance at time of application, current and within scope, with SAP approval.
• Experience in project management/execution and closeout; EVMS experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Directing all phases of program from inception through completion.
• Management of cost, schedule and technical performance of tooling programs.
• Act as customer contact for program activities and lead reviews on cost, schedule, and performance.
• Establish milestones, monitor plans, and resolve issues with resources and specifications.
• Lead cross-functional teams across technical, manufacturing and admin areas.
• Identify risks and maintain risk register with corrective actions.
• Strategically manage budgets (B&P and M&S) with financial discipline.
