Job summary

University of California seeks a Program Manager Sr for the Covered California initiative to lead planning, design, and implementation of new health program lines in a partially telework environment. You will coordinate cross-functional teams, engage with executives and stakeholders, and ensure program delivery aligns with strategic priorities.

You will support day-to-day operations, develop KPIs, and manage tasks across departments while maintaining a strong focus on member health and equity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in public health, business, health care administration or related field PLUS 4 years of experience in health care programs, including cross-collaboration and coordination, and internal and external stakeholder engagement.
• Experience at a health plan, health system, health provider, public agency or hospital setting.

Responsibilities

• Provides program leadership and guidance for end-to-end operations and interdependencies.
• Develops dashboards and reports to inform leadership and stakeholders.
• Manages multiple projects and ensures alignment with department goals and strategic priorities.
• Supports administration and vendor-related activities to enable program success.
• Assists in day-to-day activities and cross-functional project support.
