Job summary

The Building People, LLC, is seeking a Senior Program Manager for a full-time role to oversee day-to-day management of contract support operations across multiple projects and locations for a federal client.

The SPM will organize, direct and coordinate planning, production, and delivery of contract support activities, ensuring all deliverables meet specifications and timelines, while communicating effectively with customers and management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required in a related field.
• At least ten years of supervisory experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the operation of departments to ensure programs are completed on time, within budget, and to specifications.
• Minimize delays in delivery and forecast potential schedule slippage.
• Communicate with customers/clients to schedule meetings and address program issues.
• Lead recruitment and hiring for the project and manage staff.
• Coordinate with staff and subcontractors to align schedules and resolve problems.
• Keep customers informed of program status and milestones.
• Report to management on program status and potential issues.
• Develop alternate plans to mitigate delays and ensure on-time delivery of deliverables.
• Engage in business development activities as needed.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
