Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience with 3–5 years in event planning.
• Strong customer service and relationship-building skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multi-task and manage budgets and timelines.
• Flexible schedule including early mornings and late evenings.
• Knowledge of Greater Boston business and policy ecosystem preferred.
• Strong writing, editing, and content development skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a portfolio of chamber programs and events.
• Research trends to identify timely topics.
• Identify, recruit, manage speakers and moderators.
• Draft event materials and post-event summaries.
• Manage sponsor relationships and fulfillment.
• Oversee venue, vendors, contracts, registrations, AV, and on-site logistics.
• Develop and manage budgets and timelines.
• Collaborate with Communications to promote attendance.
