Job summary

The AES Group is seeking a Senior Program Manager to lead strategic software development programs across enterprise teams in a fast-paced setting. You will drive SDLC governance, roadmaps, and cross-functional delivery, coordinating with Product, Engineering, Platform, UX Design, and Research to ensure timely outcomes.

Remote with occasional onsite attendance now, with a planned shift to five days onsite in Chicago as business needs dictate.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
• 8+ years of Program or Project Management experience.
• Minimum 6 years leading large-scale SDLC programs.
• Proven experience delivering enterprise software development programs from initiation through production.

Responsibilities

• Lead large-scale software development programs through the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Drive program planning, execution, tracking, governance, and successful delivery of strategic software initiatives.
• Develop and maintain project roadmaps, schedules, communication plans, and governance processes.
• Manage project risks, dependencies, issues, resource planning, and delivery milestones.
• Build scalable operational processes that improve execution and cross-functional collaboration.
• Partner with Product Management, Engineering, Platform, UX Design, and Research teams to ensure successful program delivery.
• Influence stakeholders and cross-functional teams without direct reporting authority.
• Facilitate decision-making, remove delivery roadblocks, and provide executive-level status reporting.
• Thrive in ambiguous environments while maintaining strong execution and delivery focus.
