Job summary

Kforce is seeking an experienced Senior Program Manager in Houston, TX to lead complex, cross-functional initiatives from planning through execution. You will oversee large-scale programs, drive governance, coordinate multiple workstreams, and ensure on-time, on-budget delivery aligned with business objectives.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Business/IT, 10+ years in complex programs, PMP certification, and strong knowledge of Agile and traditional PM methodologies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, or related field.
• PMP certification required; ITIL certification preferred.
• 10+ years of experience managing complex enterprise programs and projects.
• 6+ years leading remote, cross-functional teams.
• Experience with business process improvement, operations, supply chain, or IT projects.
• Strong knowledge of Agile and traditional project management methodologies.
• Advanced proficiency with Smartsheet, Microsoft Project, Visio, and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in fast-paced environments.
• Prior experience supporting business operations and a PMO (preferred).
• Prior experience of successfully working with customer and 3rd party vendors (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage enterprise-level programs and projects from initiation through completion.
• Define project scope, timelines, budgets, milestones, and success criteria.
• Coordinate multiple workstreams, ensuring alignment, sequencing, and dependency management.
• Facilitate project status meetings, executive updates, and stakeholder communications.
• Proactively identify and resolve risks, issues, and roadblocks.
• Develop project plans, process flows, stakeholder analyses, and other project documentation.
• Coach and support workstream leaders while promoting accountability and collaboration.
• Drive continuous improvement and operational excellence across projects.
