Job summary

R3 Strategic Support Group seeks a Senior Project Manager to provide project management support to the management and technical staff at NSWC Indian Head Division. You will lead complex engineering and manufacturing projects, track milestones, costs, and schedules, participate in design reviews, and ensure on-time delivery while maintaining safety and regulatory compliance.

The role requires fifteen+ years of relevant program experience and a SECRET clearance (TS desirable), with familiarity of

Qualifications

Fifteen or more years of relevant project management experience on similar technical programs.
Working knowledge of NAVSEA OP-5, Ammunition and Explosives Safety Ashore, or industry-equivalent safety documents.
SECRET security clearance; TS desirable.

Responsibilities

Manage complex engineering and manufacturing projects.
Ensure execution of manufacturing and engineering milestones.
Analyze technical evaluation reports to develop milestone decision and full materiel release packages.
Assist in the development and auditing of the technical data packages (TDPs) for various products system developments.
Attend design reviews and provide input.
Monitor cost, performance, and schedule of assigned projects and programs.
Identify risks to performance and schedule of assigned projects and programs.
Review management support documentation such as PERT or GANTT charts for assigned projects.
Support record management.
Ensure on-time delivery of products.
