Job summary
R3 Strategic Support Group in Indian Head, MD, is seeking a mid-level Program/Project Manager II to provide PM support to NSWC IHD staff. You will coordinate milestones and support DoD energetic systems development.
The role requires at least five years' PM experience, SECRET clearance, and ability to work with manufacturing and engineering teams. Travel domestically and overseas as needed; TS clearance desired.
Qualifications
- At least five years of relevant project management experience in similar technical programs and projects.
- SECRET security clearance; TS desirable.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate execution of manufacturing milestones for assigned projects.
- Analyze technical evaluation reports in order to develop milestone decision and full materiel release packages in support of production for assigned projects.
- Assist in the detailed production and development of various products.
- Assist in the development and auditing of the technical data package for various products system developments.
- Monitor cost, performance and schedule of assigned projects and programs
- Identify risks to performance and schedule of assigned projects and programs
- Attend design reviews and provide input.
- Review non-controlled documentation, transcription of documents, data entry.
- Review management support documentation such as PERT or GANTT charts for assigned projects.
- Support records management.
