Job summary

Viasat is seeking an experienced Program Manager to lead the Earth Observation and SATCOM programs from inception to delivery at our Duluth, GA location. You will coordinate diverse engineering teams, manage risks, and ensure successful execution while maintaining strong customer relationships.

The role requires 10+ years in program management, experience with suppliers, and PMP/Lean Six Sigma qualifications.

Qualifications

10+ years of program management experience.
Experience working with suppliers and subcontractors.
Strong problem-solving and risk management.
Excellent written and verbal communication across internal teams and external customers.
Bachelor of Science in Engineering or equivalent experience.
US Citizenship required; onsite in our Duluth, GA office.

Responsibilities

Drive complex, multi-year, cross-functional programs with cross-disciplinary teams.
Oversee the entire program lifecycle including requirements, risks, cost, and schedules.
Track progress, dependencies, and communicate with leadership to achieve goals.
Act as the owner of assigned projects with strategic direction.
Monitor milestones, risks, issues, and decisions for seamless execution.
Foster a high-performance One-Team culture and effective performance management.
Develop customer relationships to strengthen market position and drive long-term success.
Monitor customer satisfaction, quality, and profitability.
