Job summary

McBride Consulting seeks a Principal Program Manager to support AFLCMC/HB and the Saudi AWACS FMS program. The role entails lifecycle acquisition and program management, coordinating cost, schedule, performance, and international partner requirements.

The position is full-time at Hanscom AFB, MA, with 25% travel and a hybrid work model. Strong leadership, DoD acquisition experience, and active Secret clearance are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in a related field; 20+ years of experience in a technical/professional discipline, 10+ in DoD.
• Master’s or Doctorate in a related field preferred, with 8+ years in DoD.
• Extensive DoD/Air Force acquisition program knowledge.
• Strong written and verbal communication; ability to lead in dynamic teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide acquisition and program management support to PMs and IPT Leads; advise senior leadership.
• Coordinate cost, schedule, performance, and international partner requirements across lifecycle.
• Develop and review acquisition documentation and milestone briefs.
• Support contract planning, requirements, risk assessments, and program reviews.
• Produce acquisition reports, program metrics, and executive communications.
• Monitor program health and recommend strategies for risk mitigation and schedule adherence.
