Job summary

Agile Defense in Ashburn, VA seeks a Program Manager to lead cross-functional teams delivering DHS customer infrastructure initiatives. You will own cost, schedule, and performance, drive risk management, and ensure a high-quality customer experience.

The role requires a Secret clearance, PMP & ITIL, and 7+ years of management experience in federal operations, with on-site duties four days a week.

Qualifications

• Seven years of verifiable management experience on complex programs for large federal agencies.
• Five years in networking, cloud, IT, Agile and Scrum methods or eight years without a degree.
• Experience leading multi-discipline teams of engineers, PMs and subcontractors.

Responsibilities

• Direct and mentor Project Managers across all program phases from concept to closeout.
• Develop and maintain Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) for milestones and risks.
• Lead formal reviews, capture minutes and produce weekly status reports.
• Oversee program financial health, invoicing, and subcontractor coordination.
• Serve as primary POC for COR and ensure contract compliance.
• Support RFI/RFP responses and transition engagements into operations.
