Job summary

RELX is seeking an experienced Program Manager to lead a team of Project Managers and Analysts within a dynamic IT PMO. The role involves direct or indirect management, guiding cross-functional product development teams across Market Vertical, Engineering, Testing, Legal, and more to deliver on strategic initiatives.

The position requires extensive PMO experience, strong governance, and proven ability to drive on-time, on-budget delivery across a portfolio of projects.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of IT PMO experience.
• 2+ years of management experience.
• Bachelor's degree in technology, finance, business, or equivalent experience required.
• Project governance certification (PMP, PRINCE2, Agile, etc.) required

Responsibilities

• Represent Engineering Project Management in cross-functional teams and operate as an SME in their portfolio.
• Oversee Project Managers with moderate to complex projects.
• Manage and encourage new ideas to foster improvements through innovations.
• Empower staff to be accountable and responsible for their actions and decisions.
• Manage highly complex projects and some moderate projects each year.
• Coordinate resource allocation for projects and programs.
• Communicate impacts regarding capacity and demand.
• Identify improvements to processes and procedures.
• Manage all phases of the Product Development process.
• Define key performance parameters and create variance reports.
