Job summary

The Henry M. Jackson Foundation for the Advancement of Military Medicine in Bethesda, MD seeks a Senior Program Manager – Center Operations to oversee day‑to‑day operations for CBPH and CSTS, aligning activities with the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences mission.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Initiate and monitor program actions, including award issuance, budget tracking, subawards, purchasing, and reporting milestones.
  • Lead hiring, performance evaluations, and career development of staff.
  • Ensure compliance with grant awards, contract requirements, and DoW regulations.
  • Contribute to strategic planning, relationship building, and program plan development from inception to deployment.
  • Collaborate with strategic initiatives, business development, and partner‑pool growth.
  • Analyze cost and pricing data, prepare contract proposals, and interact with awards offices.
  • Maintain SOPs specific to CSTS processes.
  • Manage space, lease agreements, and rent payments for CSTS.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Senior Program Manager – Center Operations

Position located at Rockledge Office, Bethesda, MD. The incumbent will manage day‑to‑day operations and develop strategic initiatives for the Center for Brain and Psychological Health (CBPH) and the Center for the Study of Traumatic Stress (CSTS), supporting the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences mission.

Responsibilities
  • Facilitate information flow between stakeholders and lead agreements, contracts, and compliance activities.
  • Initiate and monitor program actions, including award issuance, budget tracking, subawards, purchasing, and reporting milestones.
  • Lead hiring, performance evaluations, and career development of staff.
  • Ensure compliance with grant awards, contract requirements, and DoW regulations.
  • Contribute to strategic planning, relationship building, and program plan development from inception to deployment.
  • Collaborate with strategic initiatives, business development, and partner‑pool growth.

  • Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s preferred in Business Administration or related field.
  • More than ten years of experience in program management.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) or MBA preferred.
  • Autonomy to execute the Center’s mission and vision.

Compensation
