Job summary

General Dynamics Information Technology (GDIT) is seeking a Project/Task Sr Manager to oversee complex C5ISR programs aboard US Naval vessels, with a focus on delivering mission outcomes and leadership across a large, diverse team.

You will coordinate with Government COR, manage resources, and ensure schedule, cost, and quality controls are in place while driving performance and compliance.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in an Engineering, Technical, Business, Computer Science, or IT discipline.
• 8+ years overall; at least 5 years in engineering management and supervision of shipboard installation projects in C5ISR.
• PMP-certification preferred.
• US Citizenship required.
• Security clearance: ability to obtain and maintain Secret; TS/SCI eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Lead, manage, and support the contracted effort by supervising program operations, developing management procedures and controls, planning and directing program execution, and reporting progress.
• Collaborate with Government and contractor stakeholders as primary interface with Government COR; oversee Task Order requirements and resource management.
• Drive program performance through financial and administrative controls, ensuring compliance and transparency.
• Apply best-practice program management: resource planning, risk/issue, schedule/cost/quality management for C5ISR shipboard delivery.
