Sila, a next-generation battery materials company, is seeking a Program Manager to act as the flight control tower for multi-year integrated programs spanning R&D, manufacturing scale-up, and commercial workstreams. You orchestrate sequencing, manage risk, and drive executive communications to land strategic objectives safely, on time, and aligned with target financial metrics.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in battery technology, automotive, chemical process, semiconductor, oil & gas, or related hardware-plus-process industries.
• 5+ years leading complex technical and/or business programs that integrate R&D, manufacturing scale‑up, and commercial execution.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering or Physical Science.
• Deep expertise in core program and project management disciplines including scheduling, budgeting, risk communication, and resource allocation.
• Strong ability to navigate a matrix organization and align activities with macro program objectives.

Responsibilities

• Integrated Leadership: Drive cross-functional programs linking R&D, manufacturing, capital projects, and product/commercial teams.
• Workflow Architect: Design workflows and maintain a single source of truth to synchronize objectives, metrics, and data.
• Execution & Sequencing: Optimize timing of R&D breakthroughs, scale-up projects, and milestones to hit financial targets.
• Executive Communication & Partnership: Deliver status updates, risk assessments, and roadblock resolutions to executives and teams.
• Decision & Risk Management: Lead through high-stakes decisions and mitigate cross-program dependencies.
