Sila, a next-generation battery materials company, seeks a Program Manager to act as the flight control tower for multi-year, integrated programs. This leadership role bridges R&D, operations, capital projects, and commercial teams to ensure complex products scale from lab to market.

You aren’t executing routine tasks—you orchestrate sequencing, decision-making, and risk management to land strategic objectives on time and within target metrics.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in battery technology or a related field.
• 5+ years leading complex programs that integrate R&D, manufacturing, and commercial execution.
• Experience transferring technology from R&D to high-volume manufacturing.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering or Physical Science.
• Deep expertise in decision quality, scheduling, budgeting, risk communication and analysis.
• Skilled at navigating a matrix organization and driving cross-functional alignment.
• Stage-Gate methodologies; familiarity with Agile or Waterfall workflows.
• Ability to manage ambiguity and maintain momentum in changing environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional programs spanning R&D, manufacturing scale-up, and commercial execution.
• Design workflows and maintain a single source of truth across functions.
• Optimize sequencing of R&D, scale-up, and commercial milestones to hit targets.
• Communicate program status, risk assessments, and resolutions to executives and partners.
• Lead and participate in enterprise-wide prioritization across programs.
