Job summary

RECARO Aircraft Seating is seeking a Program Manager II to lead and coordinate complex seating programs from sales handover to program closure. You will ensure on-time delivery, budget control, and adherence to quality and design standards, while mentoring junior PMs.

You will manage communications with OEMs and customers, develop project plans in MS Project, and oversee all program documentation and risk management to achieve successful program outcomes.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required in Mechanical, Aerospace or Electrical Engineering; Master’s degree a plus.
  • Strong customer relations and communication skills are essential.
  • Solid understanding of FAA certification procedures for commercial aircraft seats.
  • Proven negotiation skills with the ability to influence customer decisions while maintaining satisfaction.
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment and manage complex programs.

Responsibilities

  • Manage complex programs from sales handover to program closure with full responsibility over cost, timeline, scope and quality.
  • Develop full scale project plans and manage program milestones.
  • Coordinate with OEMs/customers and manage due dates and scope changes.
  • Maintain program on-time performance, quality, cost, and weight targets and report progress to stakeholders.
  • Lead program team meetings, prepare status updates, and maintain documentation and change control.
