Job summary

Mercury Systems seeks an experienced Program/Project Manager (IPT Lead) to drive complex aerospace/defense programs in Phoenix, AZ. You will oversee schedules, costs, and quality across the full lifecycle, coordinate with internal teams and customers, and manage risk, scope changes, and proposals.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree with 8+ years of program management experience and the ability to obtain a government security clearance. Onsite work in Phoenix is mandatory.

Qualifications

• Typically requires bachelor’s degree with 8+ years of Program/Project Management/IPT Lead experience in aerospace/defense hardware.
• Experience leading technical projects for product development programs.
• Onsite in Phoenix, AZ.
• Security clearance required; US citizens only.

Responsibilities

• Develop plans for execution of customers and internal programs with schedules and estimates.
• Execute programs to scope, schedule, cost, and quality over full lifecycle.
• Identify and manage scope changes through approval and execution.
• Ensure on-time delivery of deliverables and products.
• Lead risk and opportunities management and mitigation actions.
• Respond to RFPs and develop proposals with schedules, estimates, and compliance matrices.
• Create SOWs and manage sub-contracts as required.
• Present program status to leadership weekly and monthly.
