Job summary

L3Harris Technologies is seeking a Sr. Specialist, Program Management for Advanced Missile Propulsion & Technologies in Huntsville, AL. This role directs all phases of programs, from inception through completion, ensuring cost, schedule, and technical performance objectives are met, including SRM IRAD activities.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s degree (or higher) with 6+ years of experience, or a graduate degree with 4+ years, and a U.S. security clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree with 6+ years of related experience; or Graduate Degree with 4+ years; or 10+ years of related experience in lieu of a degree.
• Ability to obtain and maintain U.S. Security Clearance; U.S. Citizenship required.
• Direct experience with solid rocket motor design and/or production.

Responsibilities

• Direct all phases of programs from inception through completion, driving execution to meet business and financial objectives.
• Manage cost, schedule, and technical performance for programs or subsystems, including SRM IRAD activities.
• Contribute to contract negotiations and modifications; prepare proposals and SOWs.
• Serve as primary customer contact and lead program review sessions on cost, schedule, and technical performance.
• Establish design concepts and engineering efforts for research, development, integration and testing; expand product lines.
• Identify program issues and drive solutions including resource allocation or contractual adjustments.
• Provide coaching and guidance to staff; manage complex projects with delegation and review of work products.
