Yet we see room for growth and innovation in every direction - in advancing the way people engage with high-quality news, and in building a much larger digital subscription business.

As a Senior Program Manager, you will support software development squads in developing initiative milestones and managing cross-team dependencies. • Visibility - Ensure shared understanding of initiative objectives and success criteria across the entirety of the initiative team. Drive a free flow of information with and among stakeholders on all matters.

  • Transparency - Track and communicate initiatives status, risks, and emergent issues. Organize complicated information so that varying stakeholders can readily access it and keep it current with minimal overhead.

  • Continuous Improvement - Help identify systemic issues, process problems, and other risks and work with the appropriate colleagues to find resolutions. Facilitate retrospectives at the initiative level, turn the output into concrete improvements in process.

  • Impediment Removal - Actively seek out, track and elevate impediments to the team's throughput and barriers to initiatives completion.

  • Communication - Communicate with technical and non-technical contributors, and between initiative teams and senior leadership.

  • Demonstrate support and understanding of our value of journalistic independence and a strong commitment to our mission to seek the truth and help people understand the world.

  • You will report to a Director of Program Management in the PMO.
