Job summary

Teledyne Micropac is seeking a Senior Program Manager to lead aerospace, defense, and space programs from award through delivery in a highly regulated environment. You will own cost/schedule/technical performance and maintain trusted customer relationships while guiding cross-functional teams.

The role requires a technically strong leader with excellent communication skills, experienced in earned value management and integrated scheduling using MS Project.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical discipline is required.
  • 10+ years of engineering experience in aerospace, defense, electronics manufacturing, or related fields.
  • Minimum 7 years of program or project management on technically complex programs.
  • Experience with earned value cost accounting and reporting and related metrics.
  • Proven success managing customer-facing programs with cost, schedule and performance accountability.
  • Proficiency with MS Project and integrated schedule management.

This highly visible leadership role serves as the primary interface between customers and internal teams, with responsibility for cost, schedule, technical performance, contractual compliance, and customer satisfaction. The successful candidate will develop trusted customer relationships, lead cross-functional execution, proactively manage risks and opportunities, and drive program success in support of critical aerospace, defense, and space applications.**What you'll do**The ideal candidate combines strong engineering fundamentals, proven program management expertise, business acumen, and exceptional communication skills. Success in this role requires a leader who communicates early and often, influences stakeholders across a matrix organization, balances customer needs with business objectives, and consistently delivers results in complex, highly regulated environments.
