Job summary

Responsibilities

  • Manage all phases of construction projects from preconstruction through closeout.
  • Develop and maintain project budgets, forecasts, cost reports, and financial projections.
  • Prepare and manage owner pay applications and billing.
  • Negotiate, execute, and administer subcontract agreements.
  • Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, purchase orders, and contract documentation.
  • Collaborate with field leadership to develop and maintain project schedules.
  • Identify project risks and implement proactive solutions to maintain schedule and budget.
  • Lead meetings with owners, architects, consultants, subcontractors, and project stakeholders.
  • Monitor project performance, cost control, and overall financial success.
  • Coordinate project closeout, including punch list completion, owner training, warranties, and final documentation.
  • Mentor Assistant Project Managers and support the development of project teams.

Job description

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the planning, financial management, and successful execution of commercial and institutional construction projects. This individual will oversee projects from preconstruction through closeout, ensuring they are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

About the Role

The Project Manager works closely with owners, architects, consultants, subcontractors, and field leadership to manage project execution while fostering strong relationships and driving successful outcomes.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
  • 5+ years of Project Management experience in commercial or institutional construction.
  • Experience managing K-12, higher education, municipal, healthcare, office, or other complex commercial projects.
  • Strong understanding of budgeting, scheduling, contract administration, procurement, and project controls.
  • Experience managing projects ranging from $20 million to $100+ million.
  • Proficiency with Procore, Microsoft Office, and construction management software.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
