Job summary

Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children's Hospital of Chicago is seeking a Senior Program Manager who will lead cross-functional project efforts with program leaders, researchers and finance teams to advance initiatives.

The role provides program management expertise, facilitates collaboration, and tracks progress across studies and grants. Responsibilities include implementing PM processes across a portfolio, supporting research activities, and managing budgets and deliverables while guiding a team

Qualifications

• Master's degree required; experience in a complex hospital, university, or large nonprofit setting highly desirable.
• Three to five years of experience with progressive project leadership preferred.
• Experience in planning, program development, decision making and project reporting.
• Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects, budgets and funding streams.
• Proven experience in planning, program development, decision making and outcome evaluation.
• Strong interpersonal communication, facilitation, negotiation and conflict resolution.
• Ability to take initiative and work independently.
• Organizational skills to manage priorities and handle short-notice requests.

Responsibilities

• Implements and manages project management processes across a portfolio of programs and initiatives.
• Supports program, research and evaluation activities with coordination and milestones tracking.
• Provides PM support for planning, grants, budgets, reporting, and closeout activities.
• Supports a team of coordinators to implement project activities and share resources.
• Oversee administrative functions including supplies, space, and knowledge management.
• Other duties as assigned.
