Job summary

The Sr Program Manager at Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago leads cross-functional program and project efforts across departments, research, and external partners in Streeterville. This role focuses on process standardization, accountability, and strategic initiative outcomes within a large pediatric nonprofit setting.

Candidates bring 3–5 years of progressive project leadership, strong planning and budgeting skills, and expertise with MS Office and collaboration tools.

Qualifications

• Three to five years of experience with progressive project leadership.
• Experience in planning, program development, decision making and project reporting.
• Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects, budgets and funding streams.
• Competent in interpersonal/interdisciplinary communication and facilitation.

Responsibilities

• Implements and manages project management processes across a portfolio of programs, research activities, grants and initiatives.
• Supports planning materials, grant lifecycles, proposal preparation, submission coordination and reporting.
• Oversees a team of project coordinators and coordinates resources across projects.
• Oversee administrative functions including supply inventory, space allocations, and knowledge management.
