Job summary

Lurie Children’s Hospital in Chicago is seeking a Program Manager Senior to lead cross-functional initiatives across program leaders, researchers, and finance teams. You will provide project management expertise, facilitate collaboration, and monitor progress and outcomes.

You will support planning materials, grant lifecycles, and budget monitoring, oversee coordinators, and drive process improvements across administrative functions and multiple locations.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree required; experience in a complex hospital, university, or large nonprofit setting highly desirable.
• Three to five years of experience with progressive project leadership.
• Experience in planning, program development, decision making and project reporting.
• Strong analytical, interpersonal, and written communication skills.
• Ability to take initiative and work independently.

Responsibilities

• Implements and manages project management processes across a portfolio of programs and initiatives.
• Supports program and evaluation activities, including milestone tracking and coordination with stakeholders.
• Provides PM support for grant lifecycles and budget monitoring.
• Supports a team of project coordinators to implement activities across projects.
• Oversee administrative functions including space, supplies, communications and knowledge management.
