Job summary

Miltope Corporation seeks a Senior Program Manager to lead complex defense programs from proposal to production at sites in Hope Hull, AL or Huntsville, AL. The role reports to the VP Government and Commercial Programs and shares financial responsibility for revenue and margins.

You will drive multi-disciplinary programs, manage risks, and coordinate with Engineering, Supply Chain, and Finance to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery while maintaining strong customer relationships and pursuing new

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field.
• Minimum 10 years of program management in the defense/aerospace industry.
• Ability to obtain/maintain a US security clearance.
• Strong written and verbal communication; negotiation skills.
• Experience with DoD procurement regulations (FAR/DFARS).

Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional teams from proposal through contract award and production.
• Own cost, schedule, technical performance, and risk; manage EVMS artifacts.
• Coordinate proposals, pricing strategies, and compliance with DCMA/DCAA.
• Interface with customers and Business Development to shape requirements and negotiations.
• Maintain IMS/IMP governance and drive schedule and cost improvements.
