Job summary

SMUD’s Distributed Energy Solutions team seeks a Senior Product Services Coordinator for Residential Building Electrification to lead program implementation and performance management, driving adoption of electric heat pumps and home electrification solutions.

The role requires strategic thinking, operational leadership, and strong customer focus to deliver high-quality program delivery across contractors, vendors, and community partners. Hybrid work arrangements apply.

Qualifications

• Experience managing and implementing complex customer programs.
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage budgets.
• Strong customer service and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Develops and executes implementation plans and goals for multiple products and services including energy efficiency, customer service, solar, heat pumps, and other home electrification offerings; establishes new/updates processes to support product/service functions.
• Establishes program budgets and relevant performance metrics; prepares variance and forecast reports.
• Develops and executes marketing plans for products/services, including advertising and communications strategies; reviews marketing materials.
• Provides effective customer service and coordinates with contractors, dealers, vendors, and SMUD staff to resolve issues and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Provides technical support by researching energy techniques and updating specifications; trains contractors and SMUD staff on programs and standards.
• Observes safety procedures and ensures compliance with regulations across energy efficiency and electrification programs.
