Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Program Financial Analyst 5 to support the Indo-Pacific Logistics and Sustainment Services (ILS2) program in Honolulu, HI. The role focuses on budgeting, forecasting, EAC development, and cost control across multiple task orders.

The ideal candidate has deep FP&A experience, strong Excel and data-analysis skills, and familiarity with various contract types in government settings. Hybrid work arrangements may apply, with the primary onsite location in Honolulu.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree with 12–15 years of experience or Masters with 10–13 years of experience.
• Experience with multiple contract types (CPAF, CPFF, T&M, and hybrid) in a government contracting environment.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft products (PowerPoint, Word, Teams).
• Experience with data analysis and visualization tools (Power BI, PowerPivot, SQL) and willingness to learn Python for data analysis, manipulation, and automation.
• Deep working knowledge of Insight, including upload forms, drill-through forms, and ad hoc analysis capabilities.
• Proficiency in writing Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC) queries for automation and standard weekly, monthly, and quarterly reporting.
• Strong understanding of finance and accounting principles including revenue recognition, project control, and cost accounting.
• Experience with invoicing support, accruals, revenue projections, variance analysis, and contract deliverables.
• Excellent analytical skills with ability to perform high-level and detailed analyses.

Responsibilities

• Develop, own, and refine financial forecasts, budgets, and EACs for the program and projects.
• Prepare quarterly EACs, AOPs, and LRPs for internal controls and planning.
• Manage lifecycle financial activities across Task Orders, including invoicing support and funding tracking.
• Support monthly closing of key financial metrics and variance analysis.
• Lead creation and maintenance of WBS dictionaries, funding management, and cost reporting.
• Coordinate subcontract and intercompany financial activities, including EAC and invoicing.
• Prepare project invoices and coordinate approvals with stakeholders.
• Create reports and dashboards to communicate program performance and risks to stakeholders.
• Collaborate with Program Managers, FP&A, contracts, and procurement across functions.
• Contribute to proposal cost modeling, pricing reviews, and process improvements.
