Job summary

Leidos seeks a Program Financial Analyst 5 for the Indo-Pacific Logistics and Sustainment Services (ILS2) program. You will develop budgets, refine forecasts, and analyze variances to guide program execution.

The role emphasizes collaboration with FP&A, contracts, and technical teams. Onsite locations include Honolulu, HI, with secondary remote options and potential Reston, VA work, amid a fast-paced federal environment.

Qualifications

• BA degree and 12–15 years of relevant experience or Master’s with 10–13 years
• Experience with multiple contract types (CPAF, CPFF, T&M, and hybrid) in government contracting
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and strong MS Office (PowerPoint, Word, Teams)
• Experience with data analysis and visualization tools (Power BI, PowerPivot, SQL) and willingness to learn Python
• Knowledge of finance and accounting principles including revenue recognition, project control, BOEs, cost accounting, journal entries, and financial statement analysis

Responsibilities

• Develop, own, and refine forecasts, budgets, and EACs for the program and projects
• Prepare and analyze quarterly EACs, AOPs, and LRPs for internal controls and planning
• Manage financial activities across Task Orders including invoicing, accruals, funding tracking, and period close
• Support monthly closing of key metrics and lead variance analysis against forecast
• Lead WBS development, funding management, and integrated reporting
• Manage subcontract and intercompany financial activities including EAC and invoicing
• Participate in invoicing with reconciliation and approvals
• Create reports and dashboards to communicate program performance and risks
• Coordinate with program managers, FP&A, contracts, procurement, and technical teams
• Contribute to proposal cost modeling and pricing reviews
• Drive process improvements and automation within the program
• Handle ad hoc requests across organizational levels
