Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Program Financial Analyst 5 for the Indo-Pacific Logistics and Sustainment Services (ILS2) program. The role focuses on defining financial goals, building budgets, and analyzing progress against baselines to drive flawless execution.

You will develop forecasts, manage WBS structures, and coordinate with FP&A, contracts, and operations to ensure timely reporting and strong financial performance. The role offers onsite/remote options and significant growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• BA degree and 12–15 years of relevant experience or Masters with 10–13 years of relevant experience
• Experience with multiple contract types (CPAF, CPFF, T&M, and hybrid) in a government contracting environment
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and strong proficiency in PowerPoint, Word, Teams
• Experience with data analysis and visualization tools (Power BI, SQL) and willingness to learn Python for data analysis
• Deep working knowledge of Insight and OAC queries for automation and reporting
• Understanding of finance and accounting principles including revenue recognition, project control, and cost accounting
• Experience with invoicing, accruals, revenue projections, variance analysis, and contract deliverables
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail with ability to work independently and collaboratively
• Experience redesigning business processes to improve efficiency

Responsibilities

• Develop, own, and refine financial forecasts, budgets, and EACs for the program and projects
• Prepare quarterly EACs, AOPs, and LRPs for internal controls and planning
• Manage lifecycle financial activities across Task Orders including invoicing, accruals, and funding tracking
• Support monthly closings and lead variance analysis against forecasts
• Lead development and tracking of WBS and related dictionaries, funding and reporting
• Manage subcontract and intercompany financial activities including EAC analysis and invoicing coordination
• Participate in invoicing processes and stakeholder approvals
• Create dashboards and reports to communicate program performance and financials
• Coordinate with program managers, FP&A, contracts, procurement, and other teams
• Contribute to proposal cost modeling and pricing reviews
• Drive automation and process improvements within the program
• Support ad hoc requests across organizational levels
