Job summary

General Dynamics Information Technology, Inc. (GDIT) seeks a Senior Financial Analyst to drive strategic financial support for government programs. You’ll develop monthly/quarterly reviews, forecasts and long-range models with management, ensure policy compliance, and prepare cost reports for close and forecasting.

Responsibilities include procurement oversight, audits readiness, and mentoring junior analysts, using Excel and Oracle/OBIEE on contract types including T&M and Firm Fixed Price.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Finance or related discipline or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years finance experience.
• Advanced Excel skills with formulas.
• Experience with Oracle and OBIEE or similar systems.
• Government contract experience.
• Familiarity with T&M and Firm Fixed Price contracts.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Excellent planning and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Create monthly and quarterly financial reviews for insight into business performance.
• Prepare monthly cost forecasts, risk assessments and variance analyses for senior management.
• Prepare financial cost reports for monthly close and forecasting process.
• Analyze monthly forecasts, current quarter results and future projections.
• Develop long-range financial models with management input.
• May perform risk identification and recovery responsibilities.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies and government regulations.
