Job summary

Iridium is seeking a Senior Program Finance Analyst to join our accounting team in McLean, VA. You will compile, review, and report on government programs, working with program managers, contracts, and the business unit to ensure accurate cost accounting and timely EVMS inputs.

You will develop and maintain EACs/ETCs, track contract values, and support budgeting and forecasting cycles, month-end closes, and CFSR submissions while identifying risks and opportunities for management review.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 6–8+ years of government contracting experience.
• US citizenship is required.
• Familiarity with FAR/DFAR, CAS and GAAP.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, tracking, analysis and reporting for government programs.
• Develop and maintain EACs and ETCs monthly.
• Track contract and funded values with percent complete analyses.
• Own EVMS inputs and Contract Funds Status Reports (CFSR).
• Support annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting cycles.
• Prepare monthly program review charts on funding and risks.
• Assist month-end close, accruals, and variance analysis.
• Support invoicing for CPFF/CPFF/FFP/TM contracts.
• Implement process improvements in finance policies for projects.
• Support government compliance and audits.
